What affects the cost of packing services in Surrey?
It depends on how much you have packed (full, part or materials-only), how many fragile or high-value items there are, and access at your property. Materials are included in the quote, and we price from a survey so it reflects your actual home — not a flat rate.
What's the difference between full, part and materials-only packing?
Full pack means we do everything, top to bottom. Part pack means we handle the fragile things — glass, china, artwork, electronics — and you do the rest. Materials-only means we supply professional boxes and wrapping for you to pack yourself.
How long does packing take?
A full pack of a three-bedroom home usually takes one to two days, typically the day before the move; a part pack is often half a day. We confirm timings at your survey.
How do you protect fragile and high-value items?
Antiques, artwork, glassware, electronics and collections get the specialist wrapping and cushioning we use for artwork and antiques on international shipments. Flag anything valuable at the survey and we’ll plan for it.
Is my packing insured?
Goods we pack are covered under the transit insurance arranged for your move, confirmed on your quote. Items you pack yourself can carry more limited cover — which is often why people opt for a full or part pack. We’ll talk you through it.
